Oatmeal is seriously underrated…. But that’s just my opinion!
During the winter, I have oatmeal for pretty much every days’ breakfast. It is the perfect, warm, filling and comforting start to the day – and is so easy to grab and take to work. Well, with fall upon us officially now here in Tacoma, WA, I am reverting back to my oatmeal fetish in force.
Simple, easy, healthy, and tastes like fall – introducing my new pumpkin and spice oatmeal! (Really, there is nothing special to this recipe, just wanted to share it cause it is sooooo delicious and I only just now thought to put pumpkin in oatmeal).
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup oats
2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
Drizzle of honey
Combine all ingredients, pour hot water over top and enjoy the pumpkin-y goodness!
**Seriously, directions are completely unnecessary for this recipe. Just throw stuff in a bowl and enjoy : )
